Classwork/HW for 1.16.13

Classwork:

Re-read prose and poem version of same memory: "Always Running" and ""Race Politics" - but this time, highlight diction, imagery, and figurative language.  Use 2 different colors for each piece.

Then, write either a prose or poem piece on the same incident, but this time the point of view should be from Rano, the older brother.

Save as RanoLastNamePeriod to the desktop

Requirements:
Use figurative language, diction, and imagery
Use appropriate diction for your genre
You must have a title

You may chose to write from Rano's point of view as he looks back on the past OR as a young 9 year old boy reflecting on the incident.
